So glad I found this restaurant! Tried empanadas for the first time and they were very good. The spinach and artichoke were a great flavor combination, and I loved they were vegan. The potato's and the salad rounded off the meal. Staff was also very attentive.

Delicious food friendly staff
Located right next to the Bangor Inn & Suites...so convenient for Inn guests. We ordered the blackened fish tacos and the house burrito. Both were delicious. Their smooth salsa was so good we went back and got another order the next day! Portion size is generous

Fresh and Fabulous
Miguels Farm to table protocol is excellent. The freshness comes through on the plate. We love mexican, good mexican, not fast food crappy recreations of what someone thinks is mexican. Miguels is consistently fresh, tasty and fabulous. Great house Margarita too.

Chile rellenos very good.
Regular dining out Mexican restaurant. Food is very good especially the Chile rellenos. Only two concerns. Kitchen is slow with too long between placing order and serving. The regular drafts come in a very thick walled glass- where are the normal beer glasses?? The 22 oz comes in a normal beer glass but the "16 oz" comes in the thick glass. Wonder why that is???

Amazing lunch
The poblano cream sauce appetizer is by far one of the best that we have had. Other menu items ordered: downeast special, enchilada Suiza, Miguel's wet burrito. Followed by dessert. When we make our way back into town, we will stop to eat!

Very good food
We go to Miguel's frequently and have never had a bad meal. Their sandwiches are amazing, the fries are the best around, and don't get me started on the margaritas! The service is excellent. The bar tenders are super friendly and it has always been a pleasurable experience. The dining rooms are decorated nicely. The prices are fair and I highly recommend this restaurant!

Authentic Cuisine
Have done Mexican all over the US and into Mexico, This is one of the best you can get in Maine. And some of the staff speak Spanish - a bit plus! Food is excellent ad well on a par with some of the best Mexican places we have been, Not chain food.

I Can't go to Bangor without stopping into Miguel's, their food is authentic, fresh and promptly served by a very friendly wait staff. Their guacamole was the first I'd ever tried, it was so good that I have yet to find another that compares. I would recommend Miguel's to anyone that might be in the Bangor area and is looking for a great place to eat and enjoy your friend's and/or family.

I usually go to Miquel's a couple of times a month. service in the bar area is superb - the salsa is the best I have ever had along with the warm chips. I usually drink beer but tried the margarita and it was to die for. It is a friendly and appears to be lots of repeat customers (always a good sign).

The margaritas are always the best in town. The salsa is homemade, addicting, and I always have to ask more seconds. Miguel's chips are warm from the oven, crisp, and scrumptious...you can't eat just one basketful!

Miguel's is a great place for Mexican cuisine in Bangor. The portions are a good value for the money. Most veggies are locally grown. They offer a wide variety of vegetarian, vegan, and dairy free items. It is rare to find a place that offers something other than salads that are diary free!

Good food, great salsa, 1/2 price pitchers on Sunday night are mostly juice but any other time you get good drinks. I like it and i will keep going back.

This place is VERY vegan friendly! Lunch is just $7.99 a person and has two options that you can make vegan, as you can choose your own filling. They have two filling options that are vegan: a meat-like crumble and chunks of grilled tofu. You can also sub for vegan sour cream (an extra $0.50) and sub for vegan daiya cheese (an extra $2.00). I think next time I'll just get the sour cream as Daiya is not my favorite, but it's SO AMAZING to know that they have so many great options for vegans!

We tried the vegan crumble in a burrito and in tacos. It was very good! They have the same substitution options for dinner, too. Our waitress was very friendly and informative :)

We are ALWAYS greeted with a welcome and smile giving us the feeling that our presence is the most important part of their day. I don't eat out as often as I did before which was several times a month because I'm retired and do not have the money to spend. So going to Miguel's was a treat that we hadn't enjoyed for about two years.
