To keep up with an increasing demand of donations to different organizations and not-for-profits, we here at Miguel’s like to do as much as possible and have decided to hold weekly fundraising events. This will give us a better opportunity to help the organization raise more funds than we would normally be able to donate ourselves.
How It Works
Every other Monday night, we will schedule a group to hold their fundraiser at our restaurant during dinner hours. The group will be responsible for spreading the word and getting people into the restaurant to help increase the amount of money they can potentially raise. Be resourceful in marketing the fundraiser as it will benefit your cause greatly. The reason we are doing this is to donate more than a $25 gift card.
A restaurant typically only makes a 10% profit of their sales. We will be donating to the event 10% of the total sales for that evening. What this means is Miguel’s will be donating its profit from all our sales from that evening. (4pm-close. )We currently have a dinner special on Mondays - buy 2 tacos and get one free. Also a beer special only $3.00, 23 oz. draft beers.
After the dinner is over, the manager will then do the numbers and write a check out to the fundraiser.
